Brand Story

Virtual Village was founded by the same two incredible women who founded The Village Markets in 2008, a successful multiple location Sunday market on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Virtual Village is committed to helping the creative small business community succeed.

The Virtual Village platform was created to launch small businesses into the online world, showcase their products and services and to connect and collaborate in a positive, innovative and unique environment.

Sarah and Marissa are the creative powerhouses behind the Virtual Village brand. Both women are seen as influential in this space, as well as being thought-leaders, innovators and storytellers.

The success of both of these brands is due to the common values held at the core of their businesses;

Goal

Virtual Village connected with Bamik Digital to map out a plan to launch the online platform successfully and gain momentum for this brand new business endeavour.

The goals were to increase directory listing subscribers and directory listing users.


Solution

By focusing on the customer experience and journey from “Never heard of Virtual Village” to “Sign me up I want in!”, we optimised every customer touchpoint to exceed expectations and showcase the incredible value that the platform delivers.

Our research and strategy offered solutions that increased website and landing page conversion rates by delivering value clearly and concisely to the customer.

Through paid social media, there was increased awareness of the platform generating not only new leads to the paid platform but also new users of the platform.

Results

After compiling and executing a well researched strategy we were able to successfully launch the Virtual Village platform to 153 new subscribers within four weeks.

The platform received 3,332 new visitors within its first month of being live.

We succeeded in generating a positive return on ad spend (ROAS), for every $1 spent by Virtual Village they received $8.78 in return.

During the campaign period there was a 16% increase of new visitors to the site, demonstrating how we drove new audiences to the platform and scaled their business growth.
